Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lanthe F.C.'s Jokin Canyelles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Santxo Cabrera fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF GANDIA's protests and gave Santxo Cabrera a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Arenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabino Fuente having to interfere. Jokin Canyelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabino Fuente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Arenas in the 25th minute of the match. Alirio Barrientos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Eladio Ibanez was a little too slow when Ildefonso Avila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Salomon Cambero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eladio Ibanez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mundo Garate. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Avila to make the kick off. Lanthe F.C.'s Ricardo Tormes got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Lanthe F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Avila came free, but Eladio Ibanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Nobo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Eladio Ibanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Cambero in the 57th minute of the match. Gabino Fuente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jokin Canyelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eladio Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Cambero, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lanthe F.C. were furious when Abarrotz Ramiréz was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Alirio Barrientos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salomon Cambero in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eladio Ibanez saved Lanthe F.C. from getting behind. Martín Camara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gabino Fuente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabino Fuente made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Emilio Arenas sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eladio Ibanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Avila might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eladio Ibanez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Avila ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes CF GANDIA got a freekick which was hit by Mundo Garate. Emilio Arenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Arenas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Gabino Fuente made a huge save. CF GANDIA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
