The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Basilio Griful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gilabert Cuadrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Lano Belalcaraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hondo Domingo. Barinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lano Belalcaraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cordario Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldunate's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordario Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hondo Domingo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Barinas's goal looked a bit too open when Lano Belalcaraz came free, but Hondo Domingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lano Belalcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barinas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aldunate.
