Narciso Aceves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xuoco Vagrande's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Narciso Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuoco Vagrande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariando Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Xabel Ribas fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacarot's protests and gave Xabel Ribas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, one of Bacarot:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bacarot. Artzai Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Berdaitz Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariando Bravo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Torrente was the one to do the kick off. Xuoco Vagrande scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Aceves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Berdaitz Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Torrente in the 59th minute of the match. Artzai Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berdaitz Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. When Ariando Bravo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Bacarot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariando Bravo couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes, Etxatxu Soldado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libano and the Bacarot players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Libano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxatxu Soldado to maneuver through the defense. If Ariando Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Libano's Narciso Aceves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariando Bravo in the 89th minute of play. Ariando Bravo scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Aceves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Libano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bacarot.
