Isidro Morales struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Dalmu Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derio AD. In the 14th minute Laureano Bargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacho Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmu Rivas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Morales in the 19th minute. Ugutz Feliu's late challenge caught a Ottawa Futbol Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ugutz Feliu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Derio AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ugutz Feliu to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Ottawa Futbol Team got a freekick which was hit by Piorno Perez. Ottawa Futbol Team's Dalmu Rivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ottawa Futbol Team from getting a goal against them. Dalmu Rivas was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Isidro Morales capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidro Morales really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Derio AD's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Bargas came free, but Pacho Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Bargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pacho Casanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Ottawa Futbol Team's goalkeeper Dalmu Rivas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Morales. Isidro Morales's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Dalmu Rivas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Quico Palomar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dalmu Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derio AD's Pacho Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinforiano Aguilo in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quico Palomar made a kick off. Pacho Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Bargas in the 53rd minute of the match. Isidro Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dalmu Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmu Rivas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Morales's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 69 played minutes Derio AD got a freekick which was hit by Ugutz Feliu. Isidro Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dalmu Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Ottawa Futbol Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Obis to maneuver through the defense. Dalmu Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quico Palomar in the 83rd minute of the match. Isidro Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quico Palomar came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Derio AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quico Palomar couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Quico Palomar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmu Rivas was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Derio AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ottawa Futbol Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
