Ottawa Futbol Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qwinton Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Aluísio Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Sinforiano Aguilo made a precise shot to the right of Julián Bartumeu. F.C. Brics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of F.C. Brics:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ottawa Futbol Team:s goal. The goalkeeper, Julián Bartumeu, was totally fooled by Ottawa Futbol Team's Aketza Alavedra, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Szabolcs Kálmán came free in the 34th minute and tried to tip the ball over Dalmu Rivas, but to the joy of Ottawa Futbol Team's supporters the ball went over. F.C. Brics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szabolcs Kálmán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Aldo Leseduarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Brics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ottawa Futbol Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, F.C. Brics's Aldo Leseduarte got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ottawa Futbol Team's zone, Qwinton Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmu Rivas came out of the goal and Qwinton Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qwinton Montes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Dalmu Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Brics. If Qwinton Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Leseduarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miroslav Stoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmu Rivas having to interfere. Brics's Julián Bartumeu. Julián Bartumeu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded F.C. Brics left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ottawa Futbol Team.
