Punto Fijo's Rosalio Zapata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Punto Fijo from getting a goal against them. Carlos Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, F. C. BECERREA's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Avila came free, but Ritchie Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oxel Elguero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ritchie Blazquez having to make a save. Cayo Dulce hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Rogelio Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rogelio Avila fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punto Fijo's protests and gave Rogelio Avila a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Rogelio Avila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayo Dulce during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Punto Fijo booed when F. C. BECERREA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayo Dulce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvito Mata, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 38th minute, Emmanuel Vacas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritchie Blazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oxel Elguero's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. If Oxel Elguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rogelio Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Avila in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ritchie Blazquez saved F. C. BECERREA from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Avila made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, F. C. BECERREA's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Avila came free, but Ritchie Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punto Fijo's Rogelio Avila got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oxel Elguero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ritchie Blazquez made a huge save. The F. C. BECERREA fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when F. C. BECERREA's Ostadar Paredes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of F. C. BECERREA booed when Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Grau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Ostadar Paredes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F. C. BECERREA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Rosalio Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ostadar Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, F. C. BECERREA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Suarez to maneuver through the defense. Ostadar Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosalio Zapata having to interfere. Kiko Grau kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Punto Fijo's Rosalio Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Suarez in the 89th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, F. C. BECERREA's Ostadar Paredes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosalio Zapata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosalio Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Vacas, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F. C. BECERREA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Punto Fijo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
