Lleir Sanz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Saturnin Gómez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Aniz SAD booed when Villamarin UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Justo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnin Gómezs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Lleir Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balesio Ladra in the 30th minute of play forced Aniz SAD's goalkeeper Raymundo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Balesio Ladra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lleir Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnin Gómez in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joan Feal made a kick off. Leo Quesada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Joan Feal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villamarin UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Joan Feal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymundo Marcos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Sotil Grau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lleir Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Balesio Ladra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villamarin UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balesio Ladra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
