Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lastur Escurza took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Martorell De La Selva FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ekialde Verges came free, but Rufio Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martorell De La Selva FC's goalkeeper Rufio Ramirez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zavier Justo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zavier Justo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of El Zorongo booed when Martorell De La Selva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zavier Justo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekialde Verges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufio Ramirez having to interfere. Ekialde Verges scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rufio Ramirez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lastur Escurza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Ekialde Verges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Zorongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekialde Verges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekialde Verges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lastur Escurza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Fábio Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martorell De La Selva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Martorell De La Selva FC's Fábio Checa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Salvador Castro. Salvador Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Checa to make the kick off. Ekialde Verges's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Rufio Ramirez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martorell De La Selva FC's goalkeeper Rufio Ramirez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fábio Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Castro having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Pablo Aranzubia suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Josete Tormes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Zorongo's protests and gave Josete Tormes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Martorell De La Selva FC booed when El Zorongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josete Tormes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martorell De La Selva FC's Fábio Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Castro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Martorell De La Selva FC's Petronio Roca. But to his dismay, Petronio Roca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Fábio Checa fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martorell De La Selva FC's protests and gave Fábio Checa a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roi Figueroa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, El Zorongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roi Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Martorell De La Selva FC's Fábio Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ekialde Verges managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Zorongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekialde Verges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rufio Ramirez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ekialde Verges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Lastur Escurza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ekialde Verges struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rufio Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Zorongo. Martorell De La Selva FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
