Costa Nova AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leobardo Rallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Barrios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xanti Quesada hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Grau in the 37th minute of play forced La Llacuna CD's goalkeeper Yuri Barrios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iraitz Abrego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xalvador Carballido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iraitz Abrego was the one to do the kick off. The Costa Nova AFC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Costa Nova AFC's Genaro Grau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iraitz Abrego received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xalvador Carballido came out and tried to block the shot, but Iraitz Abrego slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 72nd minute. Rafa Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Carballido having to interfere.
