When Dalmu Mezquita fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdesoto SAD's protests and gave Dalmu Mezquita a yellow card for diving instead. Sergi Estruch was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Xamin Suarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xamin Suarez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
