Candelario Labarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Candelario Labarra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Otadar's Zoilo Ramiréz. Zoilo Ramiréz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafo Diaz in the 15th minute of play forced Aretxabaleta FC's goalkeeper Cheche Teruel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Neto Griego got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Otadar booed when Aretxabaleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anxelu Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Serafo Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnas santillana during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabián Iniesta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Serafo Diaz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zoilo Ramiréz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candelario Labarra in the 31st minute of play. Zoilo Ramiréz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candelario Labarra in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Vagrande in the 35th minute of play forced Otadar's goalkeeper Zoilo Ramiréz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoilo Ramiréz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candelario Labarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Serafo Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheche Teruel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafo Diaz was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Otadar's Neto Griego sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cheche Teruel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57thth minute of the game Serafo Diaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aretxabaleta FC's Cheche Teruel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheche Teruel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafo Diaz in the 61st minute of play. Cheche Teruel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neto Griego, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Leonides Vagrande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aretxabaleta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Vagrande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoilo Ramiréz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Chano Ricoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otadar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aretxabaleta FC the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Otadar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chano Ricoy to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Aretxabaleta FC's Candelario Labarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoilo Ramiréz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Otadar were furious when Eustaquio Castaño was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 77 minutes into the game, one of Otadar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Serafo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Zoilo Ramiréz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Vagrande in the 85th minute of play. Candelario Labarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoilo Ramiréz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Aretxabaleta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aretxabaleta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
