When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Xines Alcalde took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ignacio Sánchez to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Costa in the 26th minute of the match. Atamaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Maestro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Maestro might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Sánchez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Maestro ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xines Alcalde made a kick off. If Mancio Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubén Pacheco took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Cuadrado. Cristian Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ignacio Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xines Alcalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Salvador Maestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mancio Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Baquedano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atamaria FC.
