Galeno Camara started the match with the kick off. Grocin's Nabar Maroto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galeno Camara in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Lukasz Imbor made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Grocin's Nabar Maroto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Grocin defense, Neto Albizua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nabar Maroto. The Grocin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nabar Maroto should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Córdoba's Galeno Camara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nabar Maroto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nabar Maroto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galeno Camara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galeno Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Lukasz Imbor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nabar Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Córdoba were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Josue Ramiréz made the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Tormes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pepe Carro went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Lukasz Imbor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nabar Maroto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Grocin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Osmundo Morado scored to the left of an out of position Nabar Maroto, making the score, 1-5. Galeno Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Herensuge was slow to take the kick. During this time Córdoba's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leandro Herensuge got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nabar Maroto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Galeno Camara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lukasz Imbor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe Carro was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Grocin getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pepe Carro hit a great ball. Córdoba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
