When La Alcornocosa CF's Ezequiel Rosas in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for La Alcornocosa CF. Emilio Jofre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iratze Dellasierra. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Kemen Urbieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iratze Dellasierra was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Iván Blazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kemen Urbieta struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Iratze Dellasierra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Alcornocosa CF. When La Alcornocosa CF's Bernard Murcia in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Extremadura U.D.'s goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Kemen Urbieta notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Extremadura U.D.'s Iratze Dellasierra. Iratze Dellasierra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mario Cabezas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Casero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, La Alcornocosa CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Rosas to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Santalla kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Bernard Murcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iratze Dellasierra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nacho Casero was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Extremadura U.D.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vincente Barral came free, but Iratze Dellasierra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Extremadura U.D.'s zone, Ezequiel Rosas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iratze Dellasierra came out of the goal and Ezequiel Rosas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Emilio Jofre was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nacho Casero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Extremadura U.D.. Juan Marquez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mario Cabezas. 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Iván Blazquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Cabezas. La Alcornocosa CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Blazquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. La Alcornocosa CF's Mario Cabezas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Casero in the 80th minute of play. If Nacho Casero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kemen Urbieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iratze Dellasierra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kemen Urbieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Kemen Urbieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Alcornocosa CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kemen Urbieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Iván Blazquez came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Extremadura U.D. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Blazquez couldn't finish the play.
