After a rather tough play, Navarro FC's Cipriano Bouzon got a free kick in the 7th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Navarro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amor Puig came free, but Alfredo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Navarro FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenech Gil. Alfredo Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carles Parra in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Handi Jaraba in the 11th minute of play forced Navarro FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Alfredo Jaen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navarro FC and the REAL BETIS BALOMPIE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Navarro FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alfredo Jaen hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Carles Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Parra in the 22nd minute of play forced Navarro FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Jaen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Romulo Casals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carles Parra in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Garcia saved Navarro FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Carles Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carles Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alfredo Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Navarro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. REAL BETIS BALOMPIE were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carles Parra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, one of Navarro FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Navarro FC. The referee gave REAL BETIS BALOMPIE a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amor Puig, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Navarro FC's Alfredo Garcia. 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, REAL BETIS BALOMPIE's goal looked a bit too open when Ponciano Toledo came free, but Paulino Castaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The REAL BETIS BALOMPIE fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when REAL BETIS BALOMPIE's Carles Parra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carles Parra, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Navarro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. REAL BETIS BALOMPIE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
