After a rather tough play, Cabanyes's Blanco Echeto got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Xepe Moya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Vagrande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loreto Villar having to make a save. The supporters of Cabanyes booed when Amer CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelayo Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apal Sobera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xepe Moya scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loreto Villar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Cabanyes getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Blanco Echeto hit a great ball. Xepe Moya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tirso Campomanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Anibal Zurica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Jose-Juan Benito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tirso Campomanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Amer CD's goal looked a bit too open when Tirso Campomanes came free, but Anibal Zurica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Zurica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tirso Campomanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loreto Villar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Vagrande, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Constantino Vagrande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Loreto Villar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tirso Campomanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Loreto Villar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Sinforoso Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Constantino Vagrande succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Anibal Zurica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tirso Campomanes in the 73rd minute of play. Xepe Moya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tirso Campomanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes, Jose-Juan Benito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amer CD and the Cabanyes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sinforoso Balboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabanyes's supporters rose to their feet, but Sinforoso Balboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Zurica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sinforoso Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Obis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Amer CD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
