Jose-Luis Garay's late challenge caught a La Canya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose-Luis Garay helped the player get up and apologised. La Canya FC's Pirro Casta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Briso in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Bazil Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F C Valdemoro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bazil Barroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Briso struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Pirro Casta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F C Valdemoro. After a rather tough play, La Canya FC's Galindo Vagrande got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Fernando Briso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bazil Barroso got free with Pirro Casta in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pirro Casta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Briso in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Briso in the 34th minute of play forced La Canya FC's goalkeeper Pirro Casta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Canya FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tauro Navas hit a great ball. Fernando Briso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pirro Casta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Fernando Briso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F C Valdemoro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fernando Briso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Ricoy to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes La Canya FC got a freekick which was hit by Galindo Vagrande. After having played for 54 minutes, Bazil Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F C Valdemoro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bazil Barroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Fernando Briso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pirro Casta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Canya FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diagur Munoz hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Casildo Fresnos put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Canya FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave F C Valdemoro a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergi Villa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Canya FC's Pirro Casta. 2-0. Loreto Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Briso in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pirro Casta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xusto Torrente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loreto Durango in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goyo Climent in the 92nd minute of play forced La Canya FC's goalkeeper Pirro Casta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haitz Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a little luck, F C Valdemoro's Xusto Torrente got control of the ball when Loreto Durango tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F C Valdemoro fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Canya FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
