The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Caamaño AD defense, Gilberto Jofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Palacios. The Caamaño AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Palacios should have stopped the shot. Cayetano Fuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Palacios having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nestor Sobera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzanedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Sobera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Palacios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14thth minute of the game Gilberto Jofre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caamaño AD's Silverio Palacios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cayetano Fuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Cayetano Fuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Caamaño AD getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Curcio Higuera hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Caamaño AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Fuster came free, but Silverio Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Cayetano Fuster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Palacios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th minute, Cayetano Fuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes Manzanedo got a freekick which was hit by Prometeo Turrilla. Silverio Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliazar Sacristán in the 34th minute of play. Curcio Higuera hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Cayetano Fuster succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Cayetano Fuster struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Silverio Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manzanedo. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nestor Sobera managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliazar Sacristán in the 45th minute of play forced Caamaño AD's goalkeeper Silverio Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Caamaño AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipillo Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Fuster to strike the kick off in the second half. A very good chance for a goal. When Curcio Higuera fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caamaño AD's protests and gave Curcio Higuera a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caamaño AD's Curcio Higuera got a free kick in the 81st minute. Lazaro Bargas shot from long distance in the 82nd minute, but Silverio Palacios was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After having played for 85 minutes, Cayetano Fuster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manzanedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Fuster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Nestor Sobera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manzanedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Sobera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Fuster in the 96th minute of the match. Manzanedo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
