In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Jaén CF's goalkeeper Apoena Calvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Figueres FC's Ceandro Quintero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Figueres FC from getting a goal against them. Ceandro Quintero made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Urbes Galdamez sent off a good shot on target. Arxel Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Quintero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras Orozco in the 15th minute of play forced Real Jaén CF's goalkeeper Apoena Calvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Urbes Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Jaén CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbes Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceandro Quintero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Figueres FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Arxel Alfaro scored to the left of an out of position Ceandro Quintero, making the score, 1-0. In the 21st minute Bras Orozco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apoena Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Jaén CF's Arxel Alfaro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Figueres FC's Epicuro Talavera got a free kick in the 28th minute. Manolito Tormes struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Apoena Calvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figueres FC. Arxel Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Figueres FC's Geremia Veloso got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Arxel Alfaro got free in front of the goal in the 37th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ceandro Quintero was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Figueres FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Real Jaén CF's Andolin Yeste got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ceandro Quintero. Bras Orozco took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apoena Calvo. Apoena Calvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Bras Orozco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apoena Calvo having to make a save. Manolito Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Apoena Calvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bras Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apoena Calvo having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Real Jaén CF got a freekick which was hit by Montay Cabanela. After a rather tough play, Real Jaén CF's Esteve Echavarri got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Hondo Rubio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Jaén CF's Apoena Calvo didn't even have to move. Ceandro Quintero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Echavarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Jaén CF's Sancho Ortega got a free kick in the 68th minute. Manolito Tormes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolito Tormes got free with Apoena Calvo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apoena Calvo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bras Orozco's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute, Esteve Echavarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Quintero having to interfere. Bras Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Apoena Calvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bras Orozco struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Apoena Calvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figueres FC. Real Jaén CF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
