Madeo Viejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geremia Veloso's late challenge caught a Pradocabalos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geremia Veloso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pradocabalos booed when Figueres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geremia Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Bras Orozco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marco Alfaro struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ceandro Quintero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pradocabalos. With a little luck, Pradocabalos's Omar Acedo got control of the ball when Manolito Tormes tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Omar Acedo managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Figueres FC's Manolito Tormes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Alfaro in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceandro Quintero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Bras Orozco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Acedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Roberto Cañadas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When Jacinto Aranzubia came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Pradocabalos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Aranzubia couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Alfaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Madeo Viejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceandro Quintero having to interfere. Bras Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Acedo having to interfere. Omar Acedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bras Orozco in the 57th minute of play. Madeo Viejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Epicuro Talavera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bras Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Omar Acedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geremia Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolito Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Acedo having to interfere. Omar Acedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolito Tormes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Figueres FC's Hondo Rubio got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Manolito Tormes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolito Tormes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Acedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Figueres FC had played much better football throughout.
