Leonel Muelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iyan Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Sant Pol FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabino Rivera. Arnulfo Campoamor kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ansuro Garzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabino Rivera in the 23rd minute of the match. Sant Pol FC's Leonel Muelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iyan Bermudez in the 26th minute of play. Arnulfo Campoamor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ansuro Garzon made a huge save. Ansuro Garzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulio Diez in the 29th minute of the match. Leonel Muelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iyan Bermudez in the 34th minute of play. Cilio Gonzalez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Muelas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Iyan Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Discobolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Iyan Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Muelas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hori Calatayud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leonel Muelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cilio Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Iyan Bermudez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sant Pol FC's Leonel Muelas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xulio Diez to strike the kick off in the second half. Iyan Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Muelas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Atlético Discobolo's Leonel Muelas threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iyan Bermudez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atlético Discobolo's Cilio Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Galeno De la Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cilio Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Leonel Muelas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Discobolo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galeno De la Torre in the 65th minute of play forced Atlético Discobolo's goalkeeper Ansuro Garzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricardo Olmos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Iyan Bermudez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonel Muelas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Olmos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Leonel Muelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iyan Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iyan Bermudez in the 81st minute of play forced Sant Pol FC's goalkeeper Leonel Muelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ricardo Olmos came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Atlético Discobolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Olmos couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Discobolo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sant Pol FC.
