The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, El Granel's Florencio Maroto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Asteri Montiel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. William Sabinas short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Baraquiel Guerrero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delmiro Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolfo Ziguenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Baraquiel Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Maroto in the 16th minute of the match. William Sabina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Baraquiel Guerrero made a huge save. 20 minutes into the game, William Sabina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Baraquiel Guerrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Mugur Bolborici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes Les Masles got a freekick which was hit by Asteri Montiel. The supporters of El Granel booed when Les Masles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Alfredo Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baraquiel Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayo Canturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristeo Santalla during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Granel booed when Les Masles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristeo Santalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugur Bolborici's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baraquiel Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Baraquiel Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Sabina in the 42nd minute of play. Delmiro Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinforoso Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Les Masles's zone, Cayo Canturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baraquiel Guerrero came out of the goal and Cayo Canturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Alfredo Bernal to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Juan-Alfredo Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Rapado was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Sinforoso Mora's late challenge caught a El Granel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sinforoso Mora helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Les Masles getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sinforoso Mora hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Mugur Bolborici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraquiel Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Maroto in the 61st minute of play forced Les Masles's goalkeeper Baraquiel Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mugur Bolborici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When El Granel's William Sabina in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayo Canturri couldn't finish the play. Cayo Canturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baraquiel Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Asteri Montiel could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Delmiro Rapado however easily saved by the left post. If Mugur Bolborici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baraquiel Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Maroto in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, El Granel's Florencio Maroto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baraquiel Guerrero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 85th minute William Sabina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraquiel Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Les Masles getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Toro Baltanas hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that William Sabina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baraquiel Guerrero was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Florencio Maroto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraquiel Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Granel fully deserved thier win.
