With a left leg Adrián Lara saved Castellon AFC from getting behind. Felix Castro struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Aurelio Galdamez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castellon AFC. Ladio Sanz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Adrián Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Felix Castro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Castellon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Castro couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Galdamez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Zumar Baños took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrián Lara. Adrián Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Inocencio Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Galdamez having to interfere. If Inocencio Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Pardo in the 36th minute of play forced Coblanca AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Galdamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Pardo to make the kick off. Aurelio Galdamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aurelio Galdamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inguma Zamora in the 63rd minute of play. Zumar Baños might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrián Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zumar Baños ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Valery Aizpurua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coblanca AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 74th minute, Xian Griful hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Coblanca AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Xian Griful hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Inocencio Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Galdamez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrián Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zumar Baños, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Valery Aizpurua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Adrián Lara made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coblanca AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
