The supporters of Coblanca AFC booed when Hernani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taio Zapatero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekialde Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aurelio Galdamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Taio Zapatero fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hernani FC's protests and gave Taio Zapatero a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Hernani FC got a freekick which was hit by Taio Zapatero. Coblanca AFC's Lander Roman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hernani FC. Coblanca AFC's Aurelio Galdamez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chayo Vazquez in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coblanca AFC's Anchel Labarra got a free kick in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Bartolo Galdamez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coblanca AFC's Aurelio Galdamez. Aurelio Galdamez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekialde Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valery Aizpurua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernani FC's Ekialde Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Galdamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Galdamez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Aizpurua in the 63rd minute of play forced Hernani FC's goalkeeper Julián Tormes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chayo Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Coblanca AFC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Hernani FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lander Roman took the corner. The corner led Coblanca AFC's Lander Roman to fire away a dangerous shot which Julián Tormes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Coblanca AFC's Aurelio Galdamez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Coblanca AFC from getting a goal against them. Valery Aizpurua might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julián Tormes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valery Aizpurua ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th match minute, Hernani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Galdamez to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes of play, Coblanca AFC's Zumar Baños made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julián Tormes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
