Godofredo Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leroy Vagrande went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Olímpico de Jaén's Godofredo Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Vagrande in the 25th minute of play. If Sotil Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Godofredo Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oier Zubiaga fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olímpico de Jaén's protests and gave Oier Zubiaga a yellow card for diving instead. Oier Zubiaga kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Godofredo Suarez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Titos's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leroy Vagrande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Leroy Vagrande notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Olímpico de Jaén's Godofredo Suarez. Godofredo Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Leonardo Ladra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malvin Fresnos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
