After 5 played minutes Guizaburuaga got a freekick which was hit by Anaya Jubera. When Veto Japón came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Marines Viejo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veto Japón couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Guizaburuaga's Anaya Jubera got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Guizaburuaga's Pelayo Leseduarte got a free kick in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Aiert Baeza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Galsino Aballe, 1-0. Perico Silva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Marines Viejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perico Silva to maneuver through the defense. Marines Viejo's Perico Silva got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Perico Silva off the ground. The supporters of Guizaburuaga booed when Marines Viejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perico Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galsino Aballe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veto Japón in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, Marines Viejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aiert Baeza to maneuver through the defense. Luis-Alfredo Sampil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Quintana in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelayo Leseduarte to make the kick off. Luis-Alfredo Sampil made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gaspar Quintana sent off a good shot on target. Luis-Alfredo Sampil was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Pelayo Leseduarte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pelayo Leseduarte really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Marines Viejo's goal looked a bit too open when Pelayo Leseduarte came free, but Luis-Alfredo Sampil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aiert Baeza charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aiert Baeza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Marines Viejo got a freekick which was hit by Aiert Baeza. Luis-Alfredo Sampil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelayo Leseduarte in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Marines Viejo's goal looked a bit too open when Pelayo Leseduarte came free, but Luis-Alfredo Sampil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galsino Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nabar Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Galsino Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veto Japón in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Veto Japón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galsino Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marines Viejo's Veto Japón got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelayo Leseduarte in the 84th minute of play forced Marines Viejo's goalkeeper Luis-Alfredo Sampil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
