Pelayo Leseduarte started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cresitobalo Antunez in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galsino Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antolin Bartumeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Galsino Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Natxo De la Torre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Cresitobalo Antunez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puerto De La Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 25th minute Pelayo Leseduarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natxo De la Torre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cresitobalo Antunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antolin Bartumeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galsino Aballe having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After having played for 61 minutes, Antolin Bartumeu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puerto De La Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antolin Bartumeu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes, Puerto De La Cruz's Rodas Astudillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Galsino Aballe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puerto De La Cruz reached it. Galsino Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antolin Bartumeu in the 67th minute of play. In the 77th minute Pelayo Leseduarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natxo De la Torre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Guizaburuaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Coya to maneuver through the defense. Felix Etxeberria, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 81st play minute Cresitobalo Antunez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Galsino Aballe. 0-4. Cresitobalo Antunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Galsino Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Guizaburuaga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puerto De La Cruz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
