The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximino Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estepona CF's goalkeeper Albano Jauregui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Estepona CF's Albano Jauregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelio Guasch in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbo Coira in the 28th minute of play forced fc chalsiño's goalkeeper Peri Camino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peri Camino made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Feliz Arenas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, fc chalsiño's Eleodoro Pedrosa got a free kick in the 30th minute. Feliz Arenas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Peri Camino made a huge save. The supporters of fc chalsiño booed when Estepona CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Nadal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, fc chalsiño's Adelio Guasch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Jauregui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvino Villalcazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Albano Jauregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peri Camino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Columbo Coira in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelio Guasch made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelio Guasch in the 53rd minute of play forced Estepona CF's goalkeeper Albano Jauregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as fc chalsiño's Adelio Guasch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albano Jauregui. That made the score 1-1 after 56 minutes of play. Estepona CF's Albano Jauregui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Estepona CF from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Alonso Nadal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvino Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Jauregui having to interfere. Columbo Coira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peri Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliz Arenas in the 69th minute of the match. Estepona CF's Albano Jauregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelio Guasch in the 71st minute of play. Albano Jauregui was a little too slow when Adelio Guasch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alvino Villalcazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc chalsiño's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvino Villalcazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Jauregui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Estepona CF's goal looked a bit too open when Adelio Guasch came free, but Albano Jauregui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvino Villalcazar got free with Albano Jauregui in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Feliz Arenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. fc chalsiño's Peri Camino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Columbo Coira in the 92nd minute of play.
