The referee ignored Puerto Real CF's protests and gave Zabal Varela a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Saros FC booed when Puerto Real CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zabal Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. King Lewandowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dubardo Benito, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Dubardo Benito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jesús Otero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto Real CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesús Otero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Garrido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Saros FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Puerto Real CF had controlled the match.
