Lalo Valdés started the match with the kick off. If Bertol Olmos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Griego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th match minute, Soto Camarena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix De Pablo to maneuver through the defense. If Lalo Valdés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bertol Olmos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Truylos Fuentes was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Rodolfo Griego made a precise shot to the right of Truylos Fuentes. Pumalverde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Truylos Fuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Griego in the 26th minute of the match. Gaudencio Casillas's late challenge caught a Soto Camarena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Casillas helped the player get up and apologised. Gaudencio Casillas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Soto Camarena's Donato Balcells shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Truylos Fuentes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soto Camarena reached it. Rodolfo Griego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Truylos Fuentes having to interfere. If Asier Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lalo Valdés sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Rodolfo Griego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soto Camarena's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Griego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Truylos Fuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 54th minute, Felix De Pablo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Truylos Fuentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 58th minute Lalo Valdés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iratze Santalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Lalo Valdés elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Iratze Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asier Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pumalverde getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leocadio Gabas hit a great ball. In the 69th match minute, Pumalverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asier Molina to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Soto Camarena getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gaizko Astudillo hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Leocadio Gabas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iratze Santalla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lalo Valdés received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Iratze Santalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertol Olmos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Soto Camarena's zone, Asier Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iratze Santalla came out of the goal and Asier Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bertol Olmos came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Soto Camarena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertol Olmos couldn't finish the play. The Pumalverde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soto Camarena were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
