Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC ESPAÑA's Bartolo Sobrado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Aya Lastras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Fernando AFC. Aya Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Piwowarski in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, FC ESPAÑA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Rojas to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Boniel Bueno put in a rough tackle. 9 minutes into the game, one of San Fernando AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zavier Cuadrado shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a little luck, San Fernando AFC's Tello Acha got control of the ball when Odilon Urbina tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mario Alavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Bartolo Sobrado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tello Acha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Fernando AFC's Tello Acha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save San Fernando AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Mario Alavedra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tello Acha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odilon Urbina, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Eugeniusz Piwowarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aya Lastras having to interfere. The supporters of San Fernando AFC booed when FC ESPAÑA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alifonso Llorente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odilon Urbina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tello Acha came out and tried to block the shot, but Odilon Urbina slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. In the 41st minute, Aarón Zaplana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, San Fernando AFC's goalkeeper Tello Acha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrico Lorenzo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugeniusz Piwowarski made a kick off. Tello Acha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Sobrado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Bartolo Sobrado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tello Acha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cerilo Figueres's late challenge caught a San Fernando AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cerilo Figueres helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes FC ESPAÑA got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Figueres. After 63 played minutes FC ESPAÑA got a freekick which was hit by Alifonso Llorente. After a defensive mix-up in FC ESPAÑA's zone, Aarón Zaplana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aya Lastras came out of the goal and Aarón Zaplana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Lorenzo in the 70th minute of play forced San Fernando AFC's goalkeeper Tello Acha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Sobrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tello Acha having to interfere. After 74 played minutes San Fernando AFC got a freekick which was hit by Beltza Barbosa. Eugeniusz Piwowarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Bartolo Sobrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ESPAÑA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Sobrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes in the game, Eugeniusz Piwowarski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aya Lastras having to interfere. Tello Acha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Lorenzo in the 91st minute of the match. Jose-Juan Cardeñosa made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Fernando AFC's Mario Alavedra. Eugeniusz Piwowarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC ESPAÑA fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Fernando AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
