The ciudad aljarafe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quique Marrero should have stopped the shot. Fausto Iglesias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Santiago Durango tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Iglesias to make the kick off. In the 74th minute, Fausto Iglesias made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Durango. Godons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4.
