Sabin Aranzubia made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Florentino Rivas sent off a good shot on target. Ximeno Pujol might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olivar Unzueta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ximeno Pujol ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Ximeno Pujol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olivar Unzueta. arenasfc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ximeno Pujol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 26 played minutes El Llor got a freekick which was hit by Mark Zapata. A hard shot by Dolfos Mezquita from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Sabin Aranzubia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Beltza Reyes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, one of El Llor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Llor. The referee gave arenasfc a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dolfos Mezquita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Llor's Sabin Aranzubia. 1-1. In the 39th minute Oliverio Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Aranzubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Llor's Sabin Aranzubia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverio Montiel in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Florentino Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliverio Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sabin Aranzubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

54 minutes into the match, El Llor's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Montiel came free, but Sabin Aranzubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Oliverio Montiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Aranzubia was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th match minute, arenasfc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Rivas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Rivas in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabin Aranzubia saved El Llor from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Oliverio Montiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabin Aranzubia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Josu Ramis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of arenasfc booed when El Llor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josu Ramis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Rivas scored 4-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabin Aranzubia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliverio Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sabin Aranzubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliverio Montiel in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabin Aranzubia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. arenasfc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
