Froilan Valcarcel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Griful, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Ramón Griful managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Froilan Valcarcel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarbonin Segarra in the 30th minute. Cordeiro Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Damian Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubén Taules charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordeiro Correa made a kick off. When Ramón Griful came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Candon CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Griful couldn't finish the play. Ramón Griful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Froilan Valcarcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Candon CF's Julián Fernandez to fire away a dangerous shot which Froilan Valcarcel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Hitz Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yankis FC's protests and gave Hitz Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yankis FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hitz Fernandez hit a great ball. Ramón Griful fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Valcarcel having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
