Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luciano Losada started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Diagur Gómez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Torrente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diagur Gómez in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Diagur Gómez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Torrente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxford University's goalkeeper Marcelino Torrente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Xamin Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meagas AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Xamin Mendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Torrente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Xamin Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Torrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Haroldo Segura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Araoz Esteban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnalt España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Losada in the 39th minute of play. Julen Montero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arnalt España made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Oxford University's zone, Xamin Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Torrente came out of the goal and Xamin Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diagur Gómez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Diagur Gómez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Torrente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diagur Gómez's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Oxford University's Marcelino Torrente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Oxford University from getting a goal against them. Julen Montero might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnalt España. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julen Montero ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Losada in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnalt España saved Meagas AD from getting behind. Luciano Losada might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnalt España. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Losada ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Xamin Mendez put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelino Torrente. If Luciano Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnalt España didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Oxford University's Julen Montero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Meagas AD booed when Oxford University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casado Alcalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Torrente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diagur Gómez in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Oxford University's goalkeeper Marcelino Torrente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xamin Mendez. Marcelino Torrente made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Araoz Esteban sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Xamin Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diagur Gómez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oxford University's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
