Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Losada kicked off to start the match. Damian Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Losada, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Zarbonin Segarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Torrente having to interfere. If Ramón Griful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Griful sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zarbonin Segarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candon CF's Zarbonin Segarra got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubén Taules during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Oxford University got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Duarte. Zarbonin Segarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Torrente having to interfere. Gerardo Duarte's late challenge caught a Candon CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Oxford University got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Duarte. If Zarbonin Segarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Oxford University getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rafa Cabezas hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Griful to make the kick off. Candon CF's Damian Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Losada in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Zarbonin Segarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candon CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zarbonin Segarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 minutes of play, Candon CF's Zarbonin Segarra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Torrente was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Taules in the 78th minute of play forced Oxford University's goalkeeper Marcelino Torrente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Oxford University's Julen Montero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Abancens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Ramón Griful shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Torrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julián Fernandez lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Candon CF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
