In the 16th minute Eladio Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etxatxu Arraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etxatxu Arraz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lalo Izquierdo. Milio Rallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Etxatxu Arraz made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Cleto Camarasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enetz Llinares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Argider Cacheres during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Origen F.C.'s Argider Cacheres got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Moisés Tobia came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Davids Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Tobia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eladio Helguera in the 43rd minute of play forced Davids Club's goalkeeper Etxatxu Arraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enetz Llinares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Camarasa in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eladio Helguera to strike the kick off in the second half. Eladio Helguera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Tobia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Imanol Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Davids Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milio Rallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Milio Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxatxu Arraz having to interfere. Enetz Llinares was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Moisés Tobia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moisés Tobia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Moisés Tobia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Enetz Llinares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Etxatxu Arraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Origen F.C.'s Eladio Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enetz Llinares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Tobia in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
