The supporters of Peña Roja booed when AE Badalonès was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abundio Urruti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Valines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermelando Carmona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 16 played minutes AE Badalonès got a freekick which was hit by Troy Marin. Arxel Garate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúl Valines was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Peña Roja getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Olayo Marquez hit a great ball. Arxel Garate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 minutes, Abundio Urruti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AE Badalonès and the Peña Roja players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olayo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Peña Roja's Uriel Folch got a free kick in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Folch during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Peña Roja got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Folch. With a little luck, Peña Roja's Urtungo Fuentes got control of the ball when Timoteo España tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ospin Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Carmona having to interfere. Raúl Valines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
