The audience thought a goal was coming when Ospin Bernal got free with Niva Babia in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Flor Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niva Babia didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peña Roja's Raúl Valines shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ospin Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Niva Babia made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Colmenar Del Arroyo FC's goalkeeper Niva Babia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ospin Bernal. Ospin Bernal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Niva Babia firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th match minute, Peña Roja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Rivera to maneuver through the defense. Urtungo Fuentes came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Colmenar Del Arroyo FC's Flor Montaña. But to his dismay, Flor Montaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 38th minute, Lancelot Huarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Rapado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Peña Roja players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colmenar Del Arroyo FC were winning 1-2.

The audience was convinced that Flor Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urtungo Fuentes was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Olayo Marquez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Olmos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Flor Montaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urtungo Fuentes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Ospin Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niva Babia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niva Babia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Valines in the 63rd minute of play. Ospin Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Colmenar Del Arroyo FC booed when Peña Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Folch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Colmenar Del Arroyo FC's Jaime Rapado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urtungo Fuentes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Urtungo Fuentes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peña Roja's Urtungo Fuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flor Montaña in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Flor Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urtungo Fuentes was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Jaime Rapado came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Colmenar Del Arroyo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Rapado couldn't finish the play. Jaime Rapado's late challenge caught a Peña Roja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Rapado helped the player get up and apologised. Raúl Valines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niva Babia having to interfere. Lancelot Huarte kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colmenar Del Arroyo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
