The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelines Puig in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Firmo Roca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urtun Nunez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Rosario went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Martino Palomares struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Urtun Nunez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marbella SD. Marbella SD's Firmo Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelines Puig in the 17th minute of play. Urtun Nunez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Herminio Rosario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urtun Nunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Rosario in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Bugallido getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Urtsin Odín hit a great ball. Herminio Rosario spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bugallido's goal. The supporters of Marbella SD booed when Bugallido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliu Roig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtun Nunez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martino Palomares's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Martino Palomares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose-Luis Gasso kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Herminio Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marbella SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Rosario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelines Puig was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Angelines Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmo Roca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eliu Roig came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Bugallido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliu Roig couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bugallido's goalkeeper Urtun Nunez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 71 in the game by Herminio Rosario from a close distance when the talented Urtun Nunez managed to make a qualified save. Bugallido's players were relieved. Bugallido's Angelines Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Marbella SD's zone, Angelines Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firmo Roca came out of the goal and Angelines Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliu Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmo Roca having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Claudio Goyanes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marbella SD and the Bugallido players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bugallido booed when Marbella SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Goyanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliu Roig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Firmo Roca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marbella SD's Martino Palomares got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliu Roig's late challenge caught a Marbella SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliu Roig helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Bugallido got a freekick which was hit by Eliu Roig. Bugallido's Urtun Nunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martino Palomares in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marbella SD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
