In the 8th minute, Guifre Bermejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Oier Camara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serraduy Del Pon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Massalfassar the free kick. In the 18th minute Isaio Verdaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tabb Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Massalfassar's Virgilio Castillo got a free kick in the 20th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Serraduy Del Pon's Rigoberto Barba tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Taurino Izquierdo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Castillo in the 24th minute. If Isaio Verdaguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Massalfassar got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Castillo. The supporters of Serraduy Del Pon booed when Massalfassar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Castillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Rigoberto Barba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Massalfassar's Tabb Montero didn't even have to move. The corner ended in Rigoberto Barba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Massalfassar's Tabb Montero did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Serraduy Del Pon's zone, Tebaldo Ibanez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taurino Izquierdo came out of the goal and Tebaldo Ibanez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Tebaldo Ibanez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taurino Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahiano Cao in the 43rd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bahiano Cao was the one to do the kick off. Massalfassar's Tabb Montero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Massalfassar from getting a goal against them. Taurino Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tebaldo Ibanez, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Serraduy Del Pon defense, Bahiano Cao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taurino Izquierdo. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
