Gelmiro Erosa charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelmiro Erosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zabala FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gelmiro Erosa hit a great ball. Olia CF's Carlomagno Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelmiro Erosa in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Fero Herrero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Olia CF booed when Zabala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leizarraga Tobias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gelmiro Erosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute, Baraquiel Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibon Alcaraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fero Herrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Gelmiro Erosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Gelmiro Erosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibon Alcaraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fero Herrero in the 44th minute of the match. Carlomagno Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jusepe Aballe in the 47th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jusepe Aballe in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlomagno Roig saved Olia CF from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Zabala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pere Mera came free, but Ibon Alcaraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Pere Mera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olia CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Pere Mera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibon Alcaraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Jusepe Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlomagno Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gelmiro Erosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlomagno Roig. That made the score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. Gelmiro Erosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fero Herrero hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Jusepe Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 70 in the game by Gelmiro Erosa from a close distance when the talented Carlomagno Roig managed to make a qualified save. Olia CF's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Jusepe Aballe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlomagno Roig was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Saturnino Garay fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zabala FC's protests and gave Saturnino Garay a yellow card for diving instead.
