Primitivo Villanueva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillen Zurica charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillen Zurica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillen Zurica hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Anakoz Orozco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Girón booed when Puertolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iban Pedraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Aimar Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Girón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimar Casado to maneuver through the defense. Puertolas's Primitivo Villanueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baudelio Rosario in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Puertolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iban Pedraza to maneuver through the defense. If Anakoz Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Villanueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anakoz Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Primitivo Villanueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anakoz Orozco in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Anakoz Orozco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Villanueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Baudelio Rosario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Girón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puertolas the free kick. In the 59th minute, Baudelio Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iago Gomar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Alavedra in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Baudelio Rosario notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Puertolas's Primitivo Villanueva. Primitivo Villanueva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Anakoz Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Baudelio Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girón's supporters rose to their feet, but Baudelio Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Villanueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baudelio Rosario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primitivo Villanueva having to make a save. Iban Pedraza charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iban Pedraza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iban Pedraza kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Anakoz Orozco came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Girón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anakoz Orozco couldn't finish the play. Anakoz Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute Baudelio Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Villanueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Girón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Puertolas.
