Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aras UD's Rogelio Marin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogelio Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiz Menendez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Vinicio Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. SportKansasCity's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gitano Vila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiz Menendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Rogelio Marin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fiz Menendez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santo Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiz Menendez having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Rogelio Marin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vinicio Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarando Valdés sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiz Menendez having to interfere. Rogelio Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ponciano Cao's late challenge caught a Aras UD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ponciano Cao helped the player get up and apologised. Ponciano Cao kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Aras UD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zarando Valdés 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Vinicio Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aras UD's goalkeeper Gitano Vila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rogelio Marin came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Aras UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Marin couldn't finish the play. Gitano Vila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarando Valdés, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fiz Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Muelas in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Vinicio Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aras UD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
