Everardo Gutierrez might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anatolio Tarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Gutierrez ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rosario Iglesias came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the RCD Apañaos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosario Iglesias couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venta De La Rubia FC's Paulino Segura got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Hondo Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipo Gonzalvez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, RCD Apañaos's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Gutierrez came free, but Anatolio Tarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zurica didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 29th play minutes Rosario Iglesias shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Daniel Zurica and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

RCD Apañaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosario Iglesias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Felipo Gonzalvez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Zurica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Font's late challenge caught a RCD Apañaos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Font helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RCD Apañaos booed when Venta De La Rubia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Font didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zurica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosario Iglesias's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Rosario Iglesias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Rosario Iglesias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Zurica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Iglesias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rosario Iglesias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Zurica was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Rosario Iglesias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
