Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Llope Fabelo started the match with the kick off. Sagunto's Cerilo Aballe suffered a sore thigh after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Celino Zamora's late challenge caught a Sagunto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celino Zamora helped the player get up and apologised. Celino Zamora kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gabri Roig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quico Dean in the 7th minute. During the 11th minute of the match Celino Zamora completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Celino Zamora a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Adán Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adán Valverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasto Leal came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagunto's Teodoro Ortiz. But to his dismay, Teodoro Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erasto Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes, Sagunto's Ereinotz Quevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erasto Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sagunto reached it. Erasto Leal came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sagunto's Adán Valverde. But to his dismay, Adán Valverde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Aguilo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the game, one of New Gen Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Sagunto. Lorenz Salan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erasto Leal. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adán Valverde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Llope Fabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabri Roig having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Sagunto got a freekick which was hit by Andres Vazquez. Sagunto's Gabri Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quico Dean in the 59th minute of play. Quico Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabri Roig having to interfere. Teodoro Ortiz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Quico Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Adán Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagunto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adán Valverde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Adán Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gabri Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quico Dean in the 84th minute of play. Adán Valverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Erasto Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasto Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adán Valverde in the 87th minute. When Adán Valverde came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Sagunto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adán Valverde couldn't finish the play. Adán Valverde in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erasto Leal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 93 minutes, Llope Fabelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Gen Stars and the Sagunto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes New Gen Stars got a freekick which was hit by Llope Fabelo. If Adán Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
