Ganzaga AD's Teodor Llinares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poli Cartagena in the 11th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Ganzaga AD got a freekick which was hit by Gero Zamora. When F.C LimaLimón's Poli Cartagena in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Ganzaga AD's zone, Poli Cartagena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodor Llinares came out of the goal and Poli Cartagena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Ganzaga AD's goalkeeper Teodor Llinares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Leal. Iñaki Mala charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iñaki Mala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Ganzaga AD got a freekick which was hit by Iñaki Mala. 28 minutes into the game, Ginés Benito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C LimaLimón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ganzaga AD the free kick. Ginés Benito hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Herauso Canyelles struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cortez Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganzaga AD. Teodor Llinares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poli Cartagena in the 32nd minute of play. Cortez Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Gimenez in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gero Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ganzaga AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gero Zamora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cortez Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Raymundo Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ganzaga AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, F.C LimaLimón's Ginés Benito got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Gimenez in the 42nd minute of play forced F.C LimaLimón's goalkeeper Cortez Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C LimaLimón's Poli Cartagena got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Roberto Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C LimaLimón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Poli Cartagena made a kick off. Raymundo Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Herauso Canyelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Ortiz having to interfere. Teodor Llinares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poli Cartagena in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes in the game, Herauso Canyelles fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cortez Ortiz having to interfere. Roberto Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Teodor Llinares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Llinares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Leal's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When Gero Zamora came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ganzaga AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gero Zamora couldn't finish the play. Ganzaga AD's Raymundo Gimenez got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Raymundo Gimenez off the ground. After 90 played minutes Ganzaga AD got a freekick which was hit by Raymundo Gimenez. Teodor Llinares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Leal in the 94th minute of the match. Ganzaga AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
