The referee ignored Pedrouzo SD's protests and gave Emeterio Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pedrouzo SD's Emeterio Fernandez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Blasi Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Mala having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Llinares during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isaias Llinares kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Arturo Cortes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Mala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Cortes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiano De Pablo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sandro Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Mera, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Blasi Blazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Mala having to interfere. Sandro Abancens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Mera's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Severino Mala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Cortes in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Cortes in the 32nd minute of play forced Pedrouzo SD's goalkeeper Severino Mala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Cortes struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Severino Mala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Valladolid. Igor Jorquera hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Pedrouzo SD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arturo Cortes 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Allande Gómez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sandro Abancens made a huge save. Arturo Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Mala having to interfere. Sandro Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Mera in the 63rd minute of the match. If Luis Mera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Abancens made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Allande Gómez sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Luis Mera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Abancens was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Arturo Cortes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allande Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Abancens having to interfere. If Arturo Cortes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Mera in the 90th minute of the match. When Zeruko Cifuentes fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Valladolid's protests and gave Zeruko Cifuentes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Valladolid getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Zeruko Cifuentes hit a great ball. Allande Gómez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. Pedrouzo SD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
