Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cleto Otero got the match started through his kick off. García Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabulón Prieto having to interfere. Cleto Otero struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Cruz Dagora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RGT 2005 CF. Cruz Dagora came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by RGT 2005 CF's Cleto Otero. But to his dismay, Cleto Otero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Antonio Castelao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Zabulón Prieto managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Villena CD's García Avila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the game, Jaizki Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cruz Dagora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaizki Ramos in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cruz Dagora saved Villena CD from getting behind. If Cleto Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Villena CD's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Otero came free, but Cruz Dagora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Antonio Castelao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zabulón Prieto, 1-2. Santos Cao's late challenge caught a Villena CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Cao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, RGT 2005 CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Cao to maneuver through the defense. Villena CD's Mero Dobale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RGT 2005 CF. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Castelao to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Villena CD got a freekick which was hit by Guido Garcia. 54 minutes into the match, RGT 2005 CF's Nikola Mondejar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cleto Otero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cruz Dagora having to make a save. When Villena CD's Antonio Castelao in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RGT 2005 CF's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to RGT 2005 CF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Santos Cao hit a great ball. Cleto Otero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cruz Dagora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. If Jaizki Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruz Dagora was a little too slow when Cleto Otero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. RGT 2005 CF's Zabulón Prieto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Castelao in the 83rd minute of play. Zabulón Prieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from García Avila in the 93rd minute of the match. Antonio Castelao scored 2-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zabulón Prieto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
