Belasko Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Calderon having to interfere. Vitin Calderon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belasko Perez's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Gorka Alarcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Esgos AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
